The Races
Ascalyts
A race of Infernals that are born from the union of an intelligent being and the Demons of the Far Wilds, their heads are adorned with horns that grow from the moment they are born. Every Ascalyt's horns are different from one another, but it sometimes happens that the horns are cut off and cauterized to stop them from growing, or that the union of two different relationships causes an identical Ascalyt to be born if the father is the same of the two children.
Dwarves
The Dwarves of the Realms of Amoria are a versatile sort, you got the Stone Dwarves who live on the tops and inside of mountains themselves.
The Forge Dwarves who grow up around volcanoes and deep within mountains where they are often trained in Blacksmithing or Armorsmithin.
And lastly we have the Deep Dwarves, who are born to the other Deep Dwarves, these beings live deep underground and tend to make the nicest homes deep in the middle of the earth.
Elves
The Elves who are born in the Realms of Amoria are a big part of how Nature stayed the way that it was. They fought in many battles, from fighting outside forces of these realms, to fighting other races, to even fighting their own.
Light Elves are those that grow up on the surface, sometimes in Woodlands and sometimes in Cities or settlements, but always have a love for natural life.
Dark Elves are those that grew up in the dark regions of the world, from the Caverns of mountains, to deep below the crust, and even in the giant forests that make their home in Amoria.
Wood Elves are those that grew up in the woodland realms of the world, their very way is nature, and keeping nature protected, but because they often grow up only in the very woods they are known to be a bit oafish to the ways of the world.
Goblins
Goblins, the small greenskins of the world, are known for their love of shiny things. While they are often the types to set up traps and homes in their caves, they can also be found in settlements where they are often seen as a nuissance and are hated for this, as they are often seen as scum and a part of the world that is associated most with Thieves and Criminals of other kinds.
Humans
Ah the world of the Humans, they are as plentiful as they are varied. Humans populate most of the world, but they are also rather destructive to it, they tend to cut down forces, blow up mountains to make paths, or even kill the animals to feed themselves. They are not dark in nature, but they rather see themselves often as the race that matters most.
Lathari
The complete opposite of the Ascalyts are the Lathari, beings born from a union of a mortal and a Devine being, be it an Angel, a Guide, or even a God. They don't particularly like humans, as they find them rash and destructive, but they know their place in the world is among mortals, while some Lathari have become adventurers, often you can see them running a temple or start of a religion within the world.
Minotaurs
War-bred, mindless killing machines, or so some people would describe the Minotaurs, however the truth could be farther from those opinions. Minotaurs are guardians of nature, they were originally born and bred to be protectors of the glens and falls that appear all over the continents, their nature of being has been true to this nature, and often take care of nature still.
Orcs
The battle loving Orcs of Amoria, are some of the most strong in physicality and tactics. Their fighting stiles are often times seen as brutish and dangerous to encounter.
There are two kinds of Orc, the Red Orcs of Asterum, born for warfare and causing disruption in the natural order of the world. They are the greatest warriors one could wish for to fight alongside them, but many have turned to mercenary work, and these mercenaries are some of the best in the world of Amoria. If you hire one however, be sure to pay them enough so that the enemy can't pay them more.
Green orcs are those that are more in tune with nature and have more respect for the other races, letting them live their lifes with fervor. They believe that the Animals of Nature can tell us alot about our own nature, and how we treat them even more so.
Ristings
The short folk known as Ristings are also known for their good nature, and enjoyment of a good pint of ale. Their brewing escapades are a marvel to be seen, and they often provide the finest ales and meads that one can find in the world, crafted with honey and often times netherwart, these drinks do pack a wallop.
Hill Ristings are the ones that you can often find in a fine home, and in the taverns of their villages. They are reluctant to leave their villages, as often times in history when a Hill Risting left their homelands, there was something bad to follow, mind you not for the actual Ristings themselves, but for the rest of the world.
River Ristings are the enjoyers of nature, where you can find them is often in nature, alone or in groups. They enjoy their connection with animals, and are often seen pairing with them such as Dogs, Cats or mounts like Donkeys, Horses or even some monsters.
Mountain Ristings are the very lovely people who live in the Highlands and mountains, their homes often made underground but their homes are always a marvel to see, their lives are often led by the thought that community is everything, they might not be the bravest warriors, but they make up for that in their healing abilities.
Satyrs
Satyrs first and foremost enjoy merriment and mirth, they love a good song and a celebration. Their enjoyment of songs spreads to other people as soon as they are able to play their song, these songs carry the power to help the happiness rise in anyone that hears it.
Bovine Satyrs are those that take on a Cattle like appearance, but their joys are often found in story telling, they enjoy this to the point of those stories sometimes being untrue.
Ovine Satyrs are a gentle and calm folk who enjoy a nice day in the fields, working hard to farm and use their natural growing wool to make clothes for others.
Capra Satyrs have a love for anything playful and energetic, but they do have their serious nature as well. They have a great affinity for theatrics and often tell their stories with lots of motions and dance.
Cervae Satyrs are those that are growing up in nature most of the times, their cloven hooves and their deer and elk like appearance makes them often stand out in a room with their antlers or their doe-eyed-look.
Wyrmbloods
Dragon kin, also known as Wyrmbloods are those that are known for their crass nature, they sasy it like it is, because if you live a life long enough to see ages pass, you too would keep the words true to time and honesty.
Where other races find their time fleeting away except for the elves, the Wyrmbloods spread their truths and often like hoarding stuff, whether it be currency, knowledge or people around them, they all have a sort of cling to something in the world.
